Enshrouded: Where To Get Straw
The best spot to get straw in Enshrouded is at a place called the Bounty Barn, located to the east of Umber’s Hollow. It’s quite a journey to get there, so make sure you’re geared up and ready for an adventure. Once you arrive, you’ll find a deserted farm with fields of wheat ripe for harvesting.
When you spot a wheat plant, press the ‘E’ button to gather the wheat, which will give you both straw and wheat seeds. And hey, while you’re there, don’t forget to explore around the barn for other goodies like bell peppers, sage plants, and even a secret chest hidden in the farmhouse attic!
How To Make Straw in Enshrouded
After you’ve explored the Bounty Barn, snagging all the wheat you could carry, now, it’s time to put those seeds to good use and make straw in Enshrouded by growing your very own wheat stash.
But wait, growing wheat isn’t as simple as planting seeds in the ground. Oh no, it requires a bit of finesse and some special ingredients. To get started, you’ll need those wheat seeds you collected earlier, along with a splash of water and a sprinkle of fossilized bone dust. Don’t worry if you haven’t stumbled upon bone dust yet; it’s another rare find, but we’ll get to that later.
Mix all these ingredients together in a seedbed, and voila! You’ve got yourself some wheat seedlings ready for planting. Now, where to plant them? Well, anywhere will do, but we suggest crafting your own fields to keep things neat and tidy.
Enshrouded Straw – What To Use It For
Now, why all this fuss over wheat? Well, besides making delicious bread (okay, maybe not in this game), wheat, and more specifically its straw, is used for crafting beehives, which drop honey that helps regenerate stamina. So, it’s worth the time and effort to craft as many beehives as you can. And if you find yourself in need of more straw down the line, you can always revisit the Bounty Barn or expand your own wheat fields. After all, in the world of Enshrouded, self-sufficiency is the key to survival!
