Apple Game Porting Toolkit compatibility list

·

·

Apple’s proprietary Game Porting Toolkit is a powerful translation layer tool with the potential to bring a huge number of DirectX 11 and 12 games to Mac systems. On top of that, the fact that the tool is freely available to the public means anyone can give it a try and see for themselves if their favourite gaming titles can run on a Mac. However, working with the Game Porting Toolkit isn’t an easy task, since the program is primarily meant to be used by game developers. Still, many regular Mac enthusiasts have already given it a go and have reported their findings about which games would actually run. We searched the Internet and collected data from various sources like r/macgaming and AppleGamingWiki to bring you a list of all the games that are currently confirmed to run through the Game Porting Toolkit, and we’ll make sure to regularly update the list with any new titles that get confirmed.

What games can you play with the Game Porting Toolkit?

Here’s our list of the games that are currently known to run through Apple’s Game Porting Toolkit and have a confirmed playability rating (e.g. the game runs perfectly, is playable with some minor issues, or runs, but is barely playable) :
