Fuck you Apple! Crappy Mail, crappy Bluetooth! WAY overpriced for the POOR SERVICE! Cannot even pair any BT device. If it works on a 500$ laptop, then why doesn't it on a 3000+$ one??? Where's the premium??? This has been lasting for YEARS now and I HAVE HAD IT!

Bluetooth has been a Mac issue for a very long time, along with their crappy Mac Mail program. There seem to be certain sections of the OS that Apple just ignores, despite being a Trillion dollar company. Why don't they throw a bunch of money and coders at these problems and fix them?

I've tried all the fixes in the past, on almost every version of MacOS. Reset BT prefs, zapping PRam, reset NVRam, reset SMS, or delete Library folders, running terminal commands... sometimes it works for awhile, other times nothing.

Very frustrating, it's like Apple treats Mac as an ugly red-headed stepchild, behind their iOS products.

In reply to <a href="https://macresearch.org/big-sur-bluetooth-issues/#comment-3703">Peter</a>.

Hi, Peter, did downgrading to Catalina really fix the bluetooth issue? I've never changed OS's- does one lose anything? My Mac Magic keyboard never ONCe disconnected from my old iMac in 7 years, and all my same bluetooth devices work fine with everything else in the world except this brand-new MacBook Air M1 which so far has made me want to literally smash it against the wall every single day, but not before very entirely useless Apple "helper" is either trained to help or sent somewhere else on the e-planet.

Sorry, doesn't help. I'm now on Big Sur 11.4 and my Apple keyboard still disconnects or lags all throughout the day (and its is approx 30-40 cm's from my Mac mini), as well as my Logitech mouse (which I now use with the RF receiver instead). This is a real bummer. I tried to downgrade to Catalina, and the problem went away. Then updated to Big Sur again after af couple of .1 updates, thinking that NOW the issue must have been fixed, but no.
