problems with gfortran complete installer

hi everybody,
first of all i'n not so great with computers but i need fortran to scientific programming.
i need a fortran compiler so i downloaded the latest version of gfortran complete installer.
i 've a G4 ibook PPC, mac os X 10.4.11, xcode 2.5, gcc 4.0.
i installed gfortran but when i open a new file with xcode there's no gfortran option.

what should i do?

Hi,

I have the same problem! At home i use a PowerBook G4 with OS 10.4.11 and Xcode 2.4.1 and everything is running well after following Damien's instructions: http://www.macresearch.org/xcode_gfortran_contest_winner_damien_bobillot

So, I think the problem resides in XCode 2.5.
