3D Organic Chemistry Animations

Nick Greeves is a senior lecturer at Liverpool University, he is also Mac using chemist. He has created a web site dedicated to displaying interactive 3D animations of some of the most important organic chemistry reactions. This site is an invaluable undergraduate teaching resource.

The pages were developed by Nick Greeves and Alex Lawrenson on Mac OS X using Spartan 04, GAMESS, MacMolPlt and visualised by Jmol. You can also create your own images using the "photobooth" feature on any of the resizable window pages which make a jpeg from the applet display (this feature does not work with IE).
